Following an initial phase, Atelier Blink was commissioned by ComputerLand to rethink the organization of its office spaces and evolving functions. The project was developed through a co-design approach, drawing on the knowledge, practices, and expertise of the client’s teams in order to shape a workspace closely aligned with their daily needs.
This collaborative process informed key spatial decisions, aiming to enhance both efficiency and well-being at work. The project challenges conventional office layouts by moving away from rigid hierarchies and fixed partitions, toward a more open and adaptable environment.
Work floors were opened up to improve circulation and communication, while particular care was taken to preserve conditions of intimacy and calm. A range of spatial configurations was introduced, balancing openness with retreat: collective work areas, informal meeting spaces, quiet zones for focused tasks, and places for pause and exchange.
These “elastic” environments support multiple uses and rhythms throughout the day, encouraging flexibility, autonomy, and appropriation by users. The resulting workspace reflects the dynamic nature of contemporary work practices while reinforcing a sense of comfort and shared ownership.
Atelier Blink was responsible for the full scope of the project, including design development, detailed planning, bespoke elements, and on-site supervision.
